“He’s not afraid to put his body on the line” Reggie Miller believes Draymond Green would’ve been great in the 80s and 90s era
Draymond Green and the Golden State Warriors are currently facing their toughest task of the season. What makes this task more interesting is that they are facing the best defensive teams in the league and that is the Boston Celtics. Both teams get really physically involved in the game with what seems to be the biggest determining factors on who will win.
The Warriors were very successful during Game 2 and took the victory to tie the series. The team had a total of 15 steals limiting the Celtics offense to a total of 88 points. Green is one of the biggest defensive pieces available on the team who can endure the punches thrown by Boston.

Reggie Miller believes Draymond Green belongs the 80s and 90s era of basketball
Legendary shooter Reggie Miller spoke about Draymond Green’s style of playing the game and compared it to his time in the league. Miller felt that Dray would have done a better job as an old time rather than a current generation player. “He talks the talk but he walks the walk as well. He’s not afraid to challenge his teammates as well as the opponents”
“It’s hard to compare eras because there’s different rules from the ‘80s and the ‘90s and obviously the 2000s, so I understand where he’s coming from,” he said. These words came after host Dan Patrick had made a remark on how Green’s physical tendencies would have worked miracles during the earlier days of the league.
