The Golden State Warriors have had a range of struggles this season already. Currently at 15-16, the fight to become a .500 team has been raging in recent weeks. Things seemed to be back on track after a 5-game winning streak that ran until Christmas.

Eventually halted by the Denver Nuggets, fans backed the Warriors to get back to winning ways with their matchup against the Miami Heat. This was especially because the Heat was without their best player, Jimmy Butler.

At the same time of course, the Warriors were without Draymond Green. However, the way in which they lost the plot in the 102-114 loss is bound to concern the coaching staff, fans, and even the players.

Both Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry, who have enjoyed a plethora of success in the last decade at the franchise, seemed utterly dejected after the demoralizing loss. The two were seen staring into the abyss while sitting on the bench post-game, with Curry wrapping a towel around his head.

The two seemed utterly defeated, as Curry eventually got up an signaled at Thompson to follow him to the locker room. However, the 5-time All-Star was not done lamenting the performance, and sat for a few more moments before following his superstar teammate. Regardless, the clip led to celebration from rival fans, with one particular claiming that it was beautiful to see the two champions struggle:

Both players finished the game with 13 points apiece. Curry finished with a terrible 3-15 from shooting, while Thompson could only manage a 4-11 outcome with his shots.

Steve Kerr was among those concerned after the Golden State Warriors loss

Fans would not have been concerned with the loss itself, in addition to the fact that it came against a Heat team without Jimmy Butler. Rather, it was the way in which they were outhustled and seemingly ran out of inspiration during the game, that will be a cause of worry.

Head coach Steve Kerr also had a defeated conclusion from the game and claimed that his team had been outmaneuvered on multiple aspects:

It felt like we got demoralized ... we got out-coached, out-worked, and out-played.

While the Warriors return to their schedule with a match against the Dallas Mavericks, it is clear that they desperately need Draymond Green to return. Without that, the franchise might even struggle to make the Playoffs, as things stand.
