“Look at those NOOBS” Robert Griffin III takes wild shot at Brett Favre and Draymond Green amid Davante Adams assault charge

Davante Adams, the Las Vegas Raiders‘ standout receiver, is facing misdemeanor assault charges after pushing a cameraman after the Raiders’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. The receiver shoved the videographer on his way into the locker room, expressing his disappointment after a disheartening loss. The Raiders receiver’s awkward moment was captured on tape, prompting widespread mockery. Robert Griffin III tweeted his thoughts on the topic. If Davante Adams is charged with assault for shoving the cameraman, what will Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors be charged with? Last week, Green savagely assaulted teammate Jordan Poole.

RGIII tweeted: “If they charging Davante Adams with misdemeanor assault for a push what are they charging Draymond Green with?!?!” In response to Griffin’s tweet, Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Darius Slay brought up the Brett Favre issue, saying: What they go charge Favre with hell!! Despite considerable media coverage of the purported Brett Favre incident, no charges were filed against him, which irritated Darius Slay. Law enforcement has taken notice of Davante Adams’ push, but Favre’s participation in the issue has not resulted in any big consequences for him. The NFL players are not happy with this scenario, and Slay didn’t hold back.

Warriors forward Draymond Green will return to the team on Thursday, according to coach Steve Kerr, following Golden State’s preseason victory against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. Green has been absent from the squad since a fight with teammate Jordan Poole last Wednesday. He was fined but not suspended, even though it was considered. “This is the biggest crisis that we’ve had since I’ve been the coach here,” Kerr said. “It’s really serious stuff. We’re not perfect. … But we’re going to lean on the experience that we have together and trust that this is the best decision for our team. We have a lot of work to do. All of us.”

Green is expected to play in the Warriors’ last preseason game on Friday, as well as on the opening night on Oct. 18. Poole, who was punched by Green in practice, was contacted, along with Stephen Curry and other players, throughout the decision-making process. Poole met with Kerr, the front office, and Green on multiple occasions. Poole is “ready to go ahead and willing to get back out on the floor with Draymond and start to work,” according to Kerr.
