“Mamba championed them” Serena Williams’ husband got emotional after meeting legendary Kobe Bryant
Tennis legend Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian talked about his only meet with NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Ohanian, who is also the co-founder of Reddit spoke in a video made by Angel City FC as a tribute to Kobe on his birthday. The entire sports fraternity mourned the death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant. Athletes from all around the world expressed their grief and offered condolences after his death.
Ohanian said, “As a fellow girl dad, one of the things that always impressed me about Kobe was his unapologetic love for his daughters and how much he championed them and supported them and just how proud he was.” Ohanian concluded the video by saying that the NBA legend will be missed. Kobe’s contribution to the sporting world is huge and his good deeds will always be remembered within all.
Ohanian has a daughter named Olympia with Serena Williams. He was impressed seeing the impenitent love that Kobe Bryant had for his daughters. He also praised the NBA legend for being a supporting father. Ohanian also mentioned that Kobe had the intention of entering capital investments as well. He further added that the passion and drive Kobe showed on the court would have been useful for him outside the court as well.
Remembering Kobe Bryant
A public memorial service took place for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, a month after the helicopter crash at the Staples Center. Kobe’s friends and family attended the memorial that lasted for two hours. It was a big loss for the world of sports and an even bigger loss for Kobe’s family. His wife, Vanessa Bryant is yet to over come the loss of her beloved husband and daughter. She had to face a lot since his passing away. His death had come as a shock to everyone. The Los Angeles Lakers had designed a special jersey in remembrance of the black mamba. It was made in black and gold and the team made it a point to win the match every time they had donned that jersey.
