The Los Angeles Lakers faced another disappointing night as they lost for the second straight game in a row against the New York Knicks on home court. The fixture witnessed the Lakers hoist their NBA Cup flag before the match began.

After claiming the title in the first NBA In-Season tournament, the Lakers have lost three out of four games. The latest setback was a 114-109 defeat against the New York Knicks.

The game witnessed a moment where a fan brought a service dog turned “lap dog” courtside. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 29 points, four rebounds and two assists followed by Julius Randle who ended the game with 27 points, 14 rebounds and three assists. Anthony Davis led for the Lakers with 32 points, 14 rebounds and two assists while LeBron James ended the game with a triple-double of 25 points, 11 rebounds and assists.

Although not enough to over the New York Knicks, the Lakers who are currently 8th on the Western Conference standings will be hoping to bounce back when they travel to the United Center to face the Chicago Bulls in the next outing.
