“He can do everything Steph Curry can” Shai Gilgeous Alexander reveals true feelings on Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant, Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Stephen Curry
Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous Alexander firmly believes that Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant can do whatever Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry can do. The 24-year-old was talking to a kid who was asking him a variety of questions, wherein he gave some interesting insights.
Shai Gilgeous Alexander quoted in the point, “Kevin Durant is 7 feet tall and can do everything Steph Curry can do.”
Many must have not liked Shai’s comparison of the two NBA stars but definitely, Chef Curry is a better shooter than Kevin. Steph has bought so much revolution to the game and he always keeps taking it to new levels.
On the other hand, Kevin has somewhat failed to match Steph’s feat. Both have played together for the Warriors and led them to back-to-back titles. Even when Kevin was traded to the Nets, Steph never looked back and kept on giving constant performances for the team. But Kevin is yet to show his beast mode while playing for Brooklyn.
Kevin Durant’s Brooklyn faces defeat against Joel Embiid less Philadelphia 76ers
The Philadelphia 76ers handed the Brooklyn Nets another loss by 115-106. It was a comprehensive performance by the home team as they were playing without their best players, Joel Embiid and James Harden. Tobias Harris scored 24 points for the Philadelphia 76ers team. For the Nets, Kevin Durant had 20, Ben Simmons had a double-double with 11 points and 11 assists.
Kyrie Irving scored 23 points and Seth Curry scored 14 points, adding to the tally, but it wasn’t enough to take the team to a win.
To not surprise many, Ben Simmons got a very unwanted welcome as fans were constantly booing him. He was an ex-phila player, but due to some issues, he was traded to the Nets. The Australian playmaker averaged 15.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 7.7 assists over four seasons with Philadelphia. The Nets have played eighteen games this season, and have won eight and lost ten of them.
In contrast, the 76ers have a much better record, playing seventeen games, winning nine, and losing eight. The Nets will have to put in a much better effort in the upcoming games and should look to pocket a few quick wins to keep the momentum going. The Nets play the Toronto Raptors next, while the 76ers take on the Charlotte Hornets.
