Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is known for his durability and longevity in the league. However, in a recent game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, he showed signs of exhaustion toward the end of the game, which led to some criticism from Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.

The Lakers put in a lot of effort and played a full 53-minute game to secure a victory against the Timberwolves. LeBron James, who is currently in his 20th season in the league and is 38 years old, played for 45 minutes, which is a remarkable feat. However, towards the end of the game, he seemed visibly drained, resulting in turnovers and a decrease in his usual impact on the game.

Draymond Green was surprised to see James struggle in a must-win game, given his durability throughout his career. He claimed to be “very shocked” by James’ performance. However, Shannon Sharpe, defended James, pointing out that it was evident he was gassed, given his age and the amount of time he had been on the court.

LeBron looked gassed because he was,” Sharpe said. “He’s in Year 20 and 38 years of age.”

Sharpe further stated that no player, including Draymond Green, would be able to play 45 minutes in a meaningful game at James’ age. James’ performance in the game was remarkable, considering his age and the amount of time he spent on the court. Nonetheless, it is evident that even LeBron James cannot escape Father Time.

LeBron James’ career has been nothing short of remarkable. He has been one of the most dominant players in the league since his debut in 2003, and his longevity and durability have been awe-inspiring. James has always taken care of his body, and it has paid off significantly throughout his career.

At 38 years old and in his 20th season in the league, James is still playing at an elite level. He has won four championships, four NBA MVP awards, and two Olympic gold medals throughout his career. James’ performances have been nothing short of exceptional, and he is widely regarded as one of the best players in the history of the NBA.

What is even more impressive is the fact that James’ performances have not deteriorated significantly despite his age. He continues to be a force to be reckoned with on the court and shows no signs of slowing down. No player has been as good as James has been this deep into his career, not even Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
