“You talk so much! Just play basketball”: Shannon Sharpe DISGUSTED by Ja Morant over aggressive Pacers incident

“Just play basketball!” Shannon Sharpe‘s words hit hard against the reckless Ja Morant. The co-host of Undisputed had quite a lot to say to Morant- especially after his recent troublesome incident with The NBA superstar.
Recently, there have been troubling reports against Ja Morant and his friends, especially as they confronted the Pacers in late January. Just minutes after the confrontation, an SUV focussed a red-laser on the Pacers bus, as a sign of a threat. Reactions to the incident have not been good for Ja Morant at all.
Shannon Sharpe went all out to criticise Morant and his friends on their aggressive behaviour. Sharpe said that Ja was a very good basketball player. He had taken a lot of effort to reach where he is now. Yet, he expressed his disappointment by saying, “And for some reason he wants to surround himself with these type of people. Why? Bro, you’re not hard, that’s not your life.”

There were some reports that assumed the laser came from a gun, however nothing has been confirmed. “Just play basketball. … You’re putting yourself in harm’s way and it’s not a good look for you,” said Sharpe after the disturbing incident. He said that Morant wasn’t acting like himself, and asked him to stop.
“I wish Ja would realize he’s not a thug. You’re not about that life! No one looks at you and thinks you’re hood. Stop pretending!!” Shannon gave a sharp warning to the NBA player.
“You got a $200 million contract in the NBA yet you want people to think you’re hood, you’re a gangster. Because you roll with these types of people.” The disgust in Shannon Sharpe’s voice was apparent as he was talking about Ja Morant. These comments come after Sharpe’s recent spat with Ja.
Sharpe had to be escorted out of a game Grizzlies and Lakers game a few weeks ago. Sharpe got into a verbal argument with many of the players, starting with Dilloin Brooks. However, the situation later escalated to Ja Morant. Ja’s father got involved and soon it was an all out war between the team and Sharpe. Sharpe did apologise a few days later.
