Brodie had a terrible night shooting the ball as the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the Clippers and once again fell short in the Battle of L.A. Many are blaming Russell Westbrook for the loss and even Shannon Sharpe has entered the chat as he clapped back on the former MVP for his war against the media.

And, is also blamed for selling the game away as he didn’t support LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Lonnie Walker who played their heart and soul on the court. Russell Westbrook’s contributions were limited to only 2 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.
Russell Westbrook lived up to the tag of “Westbrick” as he attempted 11 shots from the field and 6 from downtown but made none of those. So his all-time critic, Shannon Sharpe got a perfect opportunity to link the situation with the ongoing drama where many believe the media is responsible for the situation around Russ. And, honestly, some of it is true as Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless have never really backed Russ since he joined the Lakers.
So making the most out of the opportunity, Shannon Sharpe firing a shot at Russell Westbrook tweeted: “Skip and I will get blamed for this and SLANDERING his name. ????????????” That’s a smart reference where he criticized Brodie by commenting on a post by StatMuse which showed out his stats for the game. It was his first 0-FG game since 2016. But we shouldn’t ignore the fact that he was a complete unit on the defensive end and even Sharpe agrees to it.

Russell Westbrook can bounce back anytime and achieve his lost respect. Even though guys like Skip and Shannon are constantly throwing dirt at his name. We all shouldn’t forget that he’s known as Mr. Triple Double and is capable of carrying the Los Angeles Lakers across single-handedly. He just has to find a rhythm and then play along and bring back the OKC Russ.
