On the FS1 ‘Skip and Shannon: Undisputed’ show, Sports Analyst Shannon Sharpe was seen rating Stephen Curry highly as a player, along with other NBA greats Tim Duncan and Late Kobe Bryant. Sharpe quoted, “We’ve never had a guy this size be this transformational in the history of the NBA,” He asserted, “We’ve always gravitated towards the big guy: Kareem, Wilt, Russell. Everybody is doing what Steph Curry does. The shots that used to get you benched, that’s a great shot for Steph. And now everybody shoots it. We’re talking about a guy [in Fisher] who’s played with Shaq and Kobe, and against Duncan…”
Further, Shannon Sharpe, also mentioned that “I don’t know why we want to dismiss a guy who has 2 regular season MVPs and one of those is unanimous. Now he has four titles and a Finals MVP. Six players in NBA History with two MVPs, four titles and a Finals MVP: Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Magic Johnson, Tim Duncan… Stephen Curry absolutely deserves to be mention when you mention the greats. When you mention Kobe, Tim Duncan, Shaq… when he is doing what he is doing. So for me Fish is absolutely right.” That’s how he agreed with Derek Fisher being right as he started the take of Chef Curry being in the same class as some of the all-time greats.
