“It took TMZ to make him realise his mistake” Shaquille O’Neal boldly claims LEAKED altercation clip forced Draymond Green’s public apology
Shaquille O’Neal knows a thing or two about getting into heated battles on the court. During his playing days, the legend fought several players who competed at his caliber. Shaq never liked to be spoken against and made sure he stood up against his bullies.
Based on recents events revolving around Draymond Green, the Los Angeles Lakers legend shared a controversial take to his audience claiming that the 4x Champion had no intention of apologising until the altercation video was leaked to the public.
He simply meant that Green’s public apology was an act to save his image. “He only did that because the video got leaked. Listen, all the guys I punched, I ain’t never apologized. I said, ‘Keep talking. This can happen every day.'”
Draymond Green’s apology and the future of the Golden State Warriors
Draymond Green took a bold step by publicly apologising for his actions against Jordan Poole. According to several reports, it was the first time champion who repeatedly instigated this fight. The veteran, however, made sure that he got his message out that he was not proud of his actions and should not have taken it as far as he did.
This issues quickly made experts question Green’s future with the team. It is possible that if the Golden State Warriors do not offer him a four year extension, he could be on his way out in a year or two. But the other issue was the internal relationship of the players.
Shaquille O’Neal disregarded this idea solely because he also played in a situation where he did not particularly like his teammate. Yes, Shaq was jealous that Kobe Bryant stole his thunder at times and the same vice versa. But they ended up winning three titles in a row together.
