But for what it’s worth, the legend now carries one of the biggest bank accounts in the history of the NBA. His attitude certainly earned him what he got pai through his playing days.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend is now worth over $400 million being an owner of 50 brands all over the United States. In a video uploaded on YouTube, Shaq explains how his ego make his show off how rich he was. This made his purchase three exquisite cars worth at least $400,000 each.
“I don’t wanna spend $400,000 for a car. So I’m like, ‘Hey man how much is this? Nah. How much is this one?’ So finally the old guy says, ‘Yo man, you asked about all these cars, can you afford them?’ … I said, ‘What the f**k you just said to me?’ So I buy three. That one, that one, and that one, and I want them dropped off… So I got 3 Rolls-Royces that I never drive. So there goes another million.”
For Shaquille O’Neal to make such decisions, it may not completely damage his back accounts. Based on how much of investments he has made over the years, the legend most definitely has a stable flow of income every week or month. It does not work for all individuals however as Diesel always encourages people to utilise their money wisely.

While being interviewed by Graham Bensinger on “In Depth” he revealed how he spent his first one million dollar pay cheque. According to Shaquille O’Neal, he said he initially purchased a black-on-black Mercedes-Benz car for himself worthy $150,000 back in the 90s. Unfortunately for him, he had parents who also more or less depended on him.
First, he father called him out asking Shaq to buy the same car. The legend being as generous as he was did exactly that. Then he mother got really jealous and asked for a car as well. She claimed he bought a similar version of his car and gifted it to his mother the same day. He admitting bring warned by the bank on his spending habits as many young players often go broke within a few years.
