Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal are one of the most well-liked television partnerships. The NBA Hall of Famers, who co-host one of the NBA’s top pre- and postgame shows called “Inside the NBA” on TNT, have a strong sense of companionship. However, Barkley almost abandoned his venture into basketball commentary to enter the realm of golf. Barkley was thinking about quitting TNT for a sizable sum of money to work as a broadcaster for LIV Golf. O’Neal offered his opinion on the topic after Chuck made the decision to remain with TNT.

Charles Barkley just clarified that he isn’t leaving after a few weeks of rumors about his future. While considering accepting an offer from LIV Golf to join their team in a media position, Barkley indicated during a phone conversation that he will be sticking with Turner for the remainder of his TV career. The loss of Barkley would have been a major setback because he is maybe the main reason the show has been so popular.  O’Neal, who is Barkley’s colleague, recently stated in an interview that he would back Barkley regardless of his choice and that he would not attempt to stop Barkley from leaving.
