Shaquille O’Neal has been one of the biggest figures associated with the NBA. The legend has proven why he deserves to be called one of the best sports personalities to have ever lived. Most of it has to do with his superstar career but a major reason why he has managed to be relevant has to do with his beyond-human-like attitude and character.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star has been in a couple of relationships during his time. One of the biggest pairings was with him and model Laticia Rolle. The model had a lot of great things to tell everybody about Shaq. She claims that he had one of the biggest hearts around. She also spoke about his giving nature and his willingness to go out of his way to help others.
According to Jennifer Toland of Telegram, Rolle highlighted one instance when they visited Gardner Community Action Center and threw a Christmas Party for 400 kids present there. Rolle, who was also been helped by the Center said, “I think we both come from families that have taught us the value of giving back and always remembering where you come from.”
She also said, “I think that’s what makes Shaquille such a humble human being. Being the big star that he is, he has taught me a lot with his big heart of gold and the way he is always giving back.” Laticia briefly mentioned his willingness to help someone near him. Several videos of him buying people’s groceries, buying children toys or even him simply interacting with fans.

Shaquille O’Neal is very well known for his work on the basketball court and how he makes his fans laugh uncontrollably. But this giving nature of his has never been an act to “give back” but is what he believes is the right thing to do. He told People, “A lot of people describe it as giving back. I describe it as doing what you’re supposed to do. You’re supposed to help those in need.”
Shaquille O’Neal has also helped a group of his friends get their masters degrees. Shaq himself is a very intelligent individual as he holds claim to four academic degrees. He proved his brilliance off the court is just as good as his impeccable basketball journey in the NBA to becoming one of the greatest ever.
