Olbermann, who is known for his controversial and provocative takes, tweeted a video of Reese teasing Caitlin Clark with some sort of a hand sign on April 2. He wrote, “What a f**king idiot”. This is me” and thanked her supporters for their love.

“Shut your dumb a** up,” O’Neal said while replying to Olbermann’s tweet. “That’s Angel Reese. She’s been playing basketball since she was two years old. She’s one of the best players in the country. She’s about to go to the pros. And you’re going to sit there and talk about ‘this is not basketball’? You don’t know anything about basketball.“
O’Neal praised Reese for her talent, her work ethic, and her character. He also challenged Olbermann to a one-on-one game with Reese and said he would bet $1 million that she would beat him.
“Angel Reese, you keep doing your thing, baby girl,” O’Neal concluded. “You’re awesome. You’re amazing. You’re beautiful. You’re talented. And don’t let nobody tell you different.“
