“‘GOAT’ is always looking for scapegoats” Skip Bayless disses LeBron James after exchanging messages with $95 million superstar
LeBron James is head strong towards recruiting the best options to with play in order to win a title. Last season may have been viewed as a mistake but there were several reasons which contributed towards their upsetting performance. So far the Lakers have made moves adding well experienced and mentored individuals around their stars.
It was revealed that the Big 3 had a phone call together made from Las Vegas and all individuals allegedly agreed to “make things work” moving into the 2022-23 season. Russell Westbrook will return under the wing of newly hired Darvin Ham opting in for a one-year extension worth $47 million. Anthony Davis will hopefully make a strong comeback after two injury burdened seasons.

Dennis Schroder requests LeBron James to take him back
LeBron James and the Lakers had a decent run during the 2019-20 season which included the bubble championship. Since then, the purple and gold have completely changed their roster trading away Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and of course, Dennis Schroder whom in fact declined an offer given by the Lakers front office. Before leaving, he averaged 15 4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists and was paid 55.8 million for that season alone.
Rob Pelinka had offered a four-year $84 million extension which the point guard had declined. He ended up opting into a smaller contract with the Houston Rockets after demanding LA for a large sum. Before that he played with the Boston Celtics where he averaged 14.4 points, and then with Houston he put up 10.9 points. Recently, the King and the 6″1 guard had a short interaction showing mutual interest in a reunion.

Skip Bayless reacts to LeBron James patching up tom bonds
LeBron James had come across a post on Instagram that featured Dennis doing a trick shot and he commented, “Tuff!”. The former champion and Lakers guard replied saying,“Might gotta run it back!?”. This obviously is a very unusual response from Schroder’s end after wanting out over contract differences. But legendary sports analyst Skip Bayless had a whole different take on this matter.
He tweeted saying, “The ‘GOAT is always looking for a scapegoat. That was a big reason he pursued Westbrook Now he’s be open to running it back with Dennis Schroder??? if things go south, he knows exactly who’d get the blame from Lakers Nation. Crafty brilliance.” According to him, Bron is only trying to use other players to cover up his shortcomings.
