Former MVP Russell Westbrook has recently deleted all his posts from his Instagram account that were directly or indirectly related to his team Los Angeles Lakers which has left sports analyst Skip Bayless stunned but he still explained what the actions taken by the star guard could actually mean.

In his NBA career, Westbrook has played with four different franchises: the Oklahoma City Thunders (2008-2019), the Houston Rockets (2019-20), the Washington Wizards (2020-21), and has completed the 2021-22 season with the Los Angeles Lakers which can also be his final season with the team because he has started giving hints about it. It was reported that earlier this week the former OKC guard deleted all the posts partnering indirectly or directly related to his former teams like Wizards, Lakers, and Rocket, but he has still kept all his OKC content on the account.

When this topic was discussed on the recent episode of the Undisputed, its Co-host the long-time criticizer Skip Bayles also didn’t hold back and said: “He (Westbrook) wants to expunge it all he wants to wipe it away because his dream come true turned into his worst nightmare, it was his worst because he got shamed on the stage that he lived for, right this is where it should all end, this is where it should be your pinnacle on this stage.”

In this season, Westbrook has averaged 18.5 PPG, 7.4 RPG, and 7.1 APG. In the current NBA season, he struggled to play to his full potential with the Lakers and was even called the ‘King of Turnovers’ but if we check his turnover rate which is 3.8 this season, it was the lowest since 2013-14 season when he was with the Thunders.

Skip Bayless in the show also explained that the Lakers are all set to trade him and Westbrook is going to face a lot of trouble in the upcoming days as according to him no franchise is interested to trade for him for the next season

“I would think that most members of Laker nation are saying goodbye like we don’t want to hear anything from you, in any way like go on,” Bayless added. “Yet, I still say I’ve read all the trade scenarios, I just don’t think anybody’s going to want him right or the 47 million that he is owed next year.”
