“Nobody could clown Michael Jordan like that” Skip Bayless once again belittles LeBron James in GOAT debate after Jonas Valanciunas laughs at $1 Billion man’s expense
Michael Jordan, Skip Bayless and LeBron James
Is there any chance Skip Bayless would leave to belittle LeBron James in the GOAT debate? Surely doesn’t seem like it. So even when Jonas Valanciunas decided to laugh at the expense of $1 Billion superstar, how could the veteran sports media personality leave out that chance. On the same note, he compared how opponents or even rivals never thought of degrading the stature of Michael Jordan.
Given that the NBA world has started calling out Skip Bayless for trying to roast LeBron James on a daily basis, the 70-year-old sports analyst is not to listen to anyone. After taking shots at the LA Lakers’ superstar when he dropped 42 pints and 16 rebounds in the Drew League, Bayless emphasised how LeBron James could never be the GOAT of the NBA, based on Jonas’ actions.
Bayless once again disregards LeBron James in the GOAT debate
To bring everyone on the same page MJ played in a completely different era. While players from opposing teams were friends, they didn’t exactly have a relationship where they could laugh when another player made a good-natured joke about them. Moreover, Bayless has earned himself a fortune by being a wholesome critic of the 37-year-old veteran from 2003. So, we know how much viewership just the names of Michael Jordan and LeBron James fetch and that is exactly what has shipped the sail for this analyst.
On the most recent episode of Undisputed, Bayless stated, “He (Jonas Valanciunas) is daring to clown LeBron Bleepin’ James?! He’s clowning him in ways that nobody ever clowned Michael Jeffrey Jordan.”
While the GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James depends completely on the opinion of a basketball fanatic, Bayless has been trying to manipulate it for years in the favor of the Bulls legend. While both of them were known for bolstering different attributes, perhaps it is time to acknowledge that the new-media deserves more respect for not blatantly writing off any player in this manner.
