“I told you this from Day 1” Skip Bayless oozes with confidence after Irving and Durant seemingly look to stay in Brooklyn

There have been rumors of the Brooklyn Nets trading their star players, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. The Nets broke out the news that they aren’t planning to continue with Kyrie Irving, which could result in trading him to Los Angeles Lakers. But he has opted in and is locked in to get the job done. On the other hand, Kevin Durant surprisingly opted out of the team but is yet to find a new home. But both the players were seen practicing with the team in Los Angeles. Commenting on the same, on the show Undisputed,’ sports analyst Skip Bayless said that no matter what, both players will end up playing for the Nets in this 2022-2023 season.

Skip quoted, “I told you from Day One: They’re both going to be Nets. In large part because (owner) Joe Tsai is going to say, ‘Kevin, I’m sorry, you have four more years that haven’t even kicked in yet, and they start on opening night – I’m sorry, Kevin, but you’re going to be there as a Net on opening night.’

Bayless has been adamant from the beginning that Durant and Irving are somehow going to continue with the NBA team Brooklyn Nets. They are the team’s two superstars, and releasing them will create a big void in the Nets’ starting Line-up, and it will be a tough time for the management to fill this gap with the season just about to begin.

Will Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Brooklyn Nets have a mutual agreement?

Analyst Skip Bayless has already stated that Star players Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving stay back with the Brooklyn Nets. The duo has been close pals for a long time, and the rumors surrounding them haven’t affected their friendship. It is said that Durant was supposedly leaving Nets camp as his friend was being traded to another team even though he requested a trade right after Uncle Drew opted in with a player option. But a confirmation about the same is yet to hear. But if the stars are made to stay back in the Brooklyn Nets team, they automatically become favorites to win this year’s title as they will then have a solid roster to play with. Only time will tell what moves will be made by the Brooklyn Nets front office.
