Undisputed’s Skip Bayless recently threw down a 3-point challenge to former NFL MVP Cam Newton. The bet was that if Newton lost the challenge, he would never speak against a reporter in his life.
Now that Newton has accepted the challenge, Bayless showed off his 3-point shooting skills on his social media.
The backdrop of this 3-point challenge started when Skip Bayless had a bizarre claim on his Undisputed show. He said that Anthony Edwards‘ block in the game against the Indiana Pacers was easy as it gets. To this, Cam Newton asked Bayless to replicate the block and prove that it was easy or else shut up.
Bayless talked about Newton’s comments on his podcast and challenged him to a 3-point contest. The deal was such that if Bayless won, Newton would never talk about basketball or a reporter that talks about basketball.
Once the former quarterback accepted the challenge, the sports analyst put up a video on his social media showing his 3-point shooting skills. It shows Bayless shooting from multiple locations around the 3-point line and making all of them.
Whether the video is edited to show only the shots going in is debatable. However, this entire bizarre situation has fans talking. They wonder what Skip Bayless is trying to prove with all this.
