Skip Bayless has once again made it to the NBA headlines as he threw some shade at Damian Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers for trying to recruit Kevin Durant to their team. The analyst has always been riding with KD throughout his time even though he doubted and hated him for some moments. But it’s very sure that as a basketball player the Nets’ star whose future with the franchise is uncertain tops his list. Skip Bayless is one of the very few names in the league who believe in Kevin Durant and his legacy even after Stephen Curry led the Warriors to their fourth title in the last eight seasons and got his first ever FMVP without any good help. The offseason is already on and has got a wild start with some crazy recruitment going on.

Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets may part ways very soon. As the situation around Kyrie Irving isn’t going to settle down anytime soon. This has led KD to think about his future options and ways out as the superstar duo will break apart if Kyrie and the Brooklyn Nets don’t fix their differences and end up on the same page. This situation around the Nets and their star duo has every other team interested in the offers. As every team in the league would love to land KD on their roster and try to get the job done. Unexpectedly this wasn’t just limited to the fans as even Damian Lillard shared the image on the story (stands deleted) and soon Jusuf Nurkic joined him with a tweet where he also had a missing piece emoji “🧩” as the Blazers really need someone who can change the game for them. Damian Lillard has remained loyal to the Portland Trailblazers since day one and has decided to stay and help them to rebuild. But to win and especially get a ring he’ll need someone, probably a star who can back him up and get the job done. So him and the team trying their best to recruit Kevin Durant is fair and understandable. But KD’s brother Tony Durant has denied it all and now Skip Bayless is criticizing them for their antics.

Skip Bayless decided to speak some self-claimed facts and stats to shut down Damian Lillard and his fans as he said: “Love Dame sending an SOS to KD pretty much the way Steph recruited KD to save HIS legacy. KD sure took Dame off the hook in the Gold Medal game after Dame missed both free throws and KD said let ME get fouled this time: Swish/swish. Ballgame. USA! USA!”

Skip Bayless also brought Stephen Curry into the conversation as he believes Damian Lillard is doing what Stephen Curry did by begging KD to join him so even he can enjoy a legacy. But nothing of this actually makes sense as Damian Lillard will always be a real and great one even though he still hasn’t won a championship and Chef literally has nothing left to prove as his resume is loud enough to shut down his haters and doubters.
