Skip Bayless is back at criticizing the Los Angeles Lakers and is proving himself as the biggest LeBron James hater. But unexpectedly this time the criticism is for the front office and not King James. As the host of “Undisputed” ripping apart trolled the franchise for their draft pick. The Los Angeles Lakers this year had no Draft picks as most of those went away to the New Orleans Pelicans in the Anthony Davis Trade. But in the final moments, the franchise managed to acquire Orlando Magic’s pick no 35 for a future second-round pick and cash. They used that to draft Max Christie and Skip Bayless is not at all happy about it and is back at throwing shade towards the franchise.

Skip Bayless is targeting the Los Angeles Lakers for their poor shooting performance in the terrible season they had and is relating it with their rook Max Christie, as even he was on the same road. Max Christie showcased some horrible shooting numbers in the 35 games he suited up for the Michigan State Spartans. He made 38.2% of his field-goal attempts and was 31.7% from the three-pointer line. But still, he was comparatively better than many of the Los Angeles Lakers’ stars who also struggled shooting the ball last season and ended up calling an early wrap-up and wasting LeBron James another important season.

Russell Westbrook, Austin Reaves, Stanley Johnson, Talen Horton Tucker and Anthony Davis all these players also showcased their poor shooting performances and if compared with the rook, he’s already a better shooter. But there’s no doubt to it that all of them can improve and lead the team to greats again but for that to happen a genuine shift in the energy is necessary as soon as possible.

Skip Bayless moments after the Los Angeles Lakers drafted Max Christie posted a critical tweet for the Lakers and their star players via his personal Twitter handle and wrote: “Lakers acquire a 2nd-round pick, take Michigan State’s Max Christie, who shot only 32% from 3 last season. Perfect! He’ll fit right in with LeBron and Westbrick.”

As they needed a good shooter to suit up for them since some of their best guys can leave them anytime soon. But somewhere it’s also a right and smart decision. As the addition of Max Christie also improves their defensive edge as he is known for locking down his rivals too.
