Skip Bayless and his wife Ernestine discussed LeBron James for the 1st time. To have much contrasting views that her husband, Ernestine went onto reveal her admiration for the Los Angeles Lakers star. Safe to say, LeBron James is a basket-balling superstar yet there are plenty of haters of him. The biggest being sports media personality Skip Bayless, who is world-renowned for his criticism over LeBron. The 70-year-old analyst points out every small detail and mistake he could use against LeBron in an attempt to get his response. By now, we all know Skip Bayless’ views about LeBron James’ and probably he is the biggest critic of the King. But what does Skip’s wife, Ernestine think of the NBA superstar? Well all of us have come to know now.
Apparently, she thinks LeBron is a “nice guy,” according to a conversation she and Skip had on his podcast. A listener wrote in a question asking for Ernestine’s opinion on her husband’s favorite punching bag and was rewarded with what seemed like an honest response.

A media relations specialist and public relations guru, Ernestine Sclafani – now Skip’s wife, spent the last 20 plus years in the field. She knows a thing or two to stay in the good books of the people. LeBron James has a massive fanbase and she certainly seems to be one of them. While talking on Skip’s Podcast and answering the question about LeBron James, she was honest and spoke some lovely words about the 4-time NBA Champion.
“I like LeBron, I’m sorry. I’m going to admit it,” Ernestine said. “I think that he’s done wonderful things for being a role model. I know he curses occasionally but everybody curses occasionally. But he seems to be a nice guy. Even after the game, when they talk to him, he’s really calm and really nice. .. He’s built schools and done all these wonderful things. I don’t have a hatred [for him].”
Skip accepts the fact that the couple never discussed their work – at least LeBron James at home, but has high praises for LBJ for his off-court activities. Skip has given full marks to LeBron on multiple occasions for his social justice stances and off-court philanthropy. He’s just unmerciful with his criticism of James’ on-court play.
Ernestine even shared her experience about LBJ as she wanted to introduce herself to LeBron in public but declined to do so because she was afraid of how he’d react when he found out who she was – which was kind of hilarious and sort of honest from her side.
Married for nearly 6 years now, Skip said they never discussed LeBron James between them, and 1st time they did, it was in public on his podcast. Well, at least they share the same view on LeBron’s social activities, but James fans got a chance to roast Skip again with the “I like LeBron” statement from his wife.
