Stephen Curry has been the de facto scoring leader for the Golden State Warriors. After struggling with three straight losses, Curry dominated the Brooklyn Nets to win the game for the Warriors.
As usual, the offensive load was on the four-time NBA champion. After briefly losing the lead, Curry hit two straight three-point shots to restore it for the Warriors. After the second three-pointer, Curry pointed toward the Nets bench and gestured that they needed a time-out. Brooklyn subsequently called a time-out to stall Curry’s hot streak. Social media was on fire after this incident, as fans all over the world were stunned by Curry’s confidence.
The Golden State Warriors were without defensive stalwart and leader Draymond Green after he was suspended indefinitely by the NBA. Add to that, they did not have Gary Payton II due to injury. The game was a much-needed win for the Warriors as they battle to remain in the playoff hunt, competing against a heavily loaded Western Conference.
Stephen Curry finished the game with 37 points and 3 rebounds. This included 12 straight 4th quarter points to start the rally. Two clutch 3-pointers from Klay Thompson also helped keep the lead. Thompson finished with 24 points and 5 rebounds. Cam Thomas had 41 points and 5 rebounds in the 124-120 losing effort for the Brooklyn Nets.

Stephen Curry usually lets his elite shooting do the talking on the court. The all-time leader in 3-pointers crossed the 3500 mark this game. Curry was so focused on winning that his fourth-quarter rally culminated with a time-out gesture.

Several analysts and fans have criticized the Warriors this season. Curry and his superstar teammates want to win another championship, or two despite all the odds. The four-time champion and 2-time MVP’s drive is apparent throughout the game, especially in this gesture.
