Durant is known to be one of the most prolific scorers the league has ever seen. Standing at 6’10” with a wingspan of 7’5” and possessing a jump shot with a high release, it becomes almost impossible to guard him, and the only hope a defender has is that he misses the shot.

In a recent tweet, NBA Insider Tommy Gunn said that while Durant is tough to guard in isolation, his former teammate Stephen Curry is an even harder player to guard overall due to his continuous off-ball movement and razor-sharp scoring from all parts of the court.

KD caught wind of this tweet and wasn’t a fan of it. He replied that the community needs to stop acting as if he doesn’t play off the ball and that there is a lot of films that should be watched by anyone who thinks he is not an off-ball player.

This discussion came to fruition after Grant Williams of the Dallas Mavericks was asked about the hardest player to guard in an interview. He replied that KD is harder to guard, but Steph has more impact on the game. Williams, who usually faces tougher assignments every game, certainly has an idea about the topic.
