In light of recent events, famous sports analyst Stephen A. Smith disagreed with Los Angeles Lakers legend LeBron James on Tuesday’s edition of First Take. He disagreed in a statement, saying that his career wouldn’t have changed at all even if he hadn’t been traded to the Miami Heat in the 2010 offseason.
Smith was in a discussion with Shannon Sharpe and Molly Qerim on First Take. He later got into a discussion about LeBron James when the ESPN legend openly disagreed with the statement. Stephen A. Smith, along with the panel, was confronted with the statement of James when he completely blew it out of water.
He called out the NBA legend for saying what he said. Smith believes that if it weren’t for LeBron’s trade to the Miami Heat, he wouldn’t be the player he is today. Moreover, he emphasizes that LeBron’s experience with the Miami Heat is something that made him understand what it takes to be an NBA champion. Smith believes that because of his stint with the club, he is unstoppable and has been one of the best players in the league ever since.
The Lakers legend LeBron James won two out of his four NBA championships during his time with the Miami Heat. This is what compelled Stephen A. Smith to call him out. Winning two NBA championships with Miami is what made LeBron what he is today and with that assertion, Smith was quite reasonable with his statement.

Stephen A. Smith calls out Ja Morant after the gun incident
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant was called out by ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith in regards to the gun incident the 6’3 guard was involved in. The Grizzlies finally got their first win without their star player since the start of the NBA regular season, which made the team go from 0-6 to 1-6. Morant is currently serving a 25-game suspension and it will be a while until the team’s star player is back with the team to continue playing in the regular season.
