“Be a good NBA wife” Stephen A. Smith slammed for telling Ayesha Curry to be like Savannah James

Stephen A. Smith is one of the most honest media guys out there in the sports world. As he is never afraid of saying what he wants to and has always welcomed controversies. But once he got in some serious trouble as on the other end it was Stephen Curry’s wife Ayesha Curry. Ayesha Curry was really very angry on Stephen A. Smith. As the analyst told him to be like LeBron James’ wife Savannah James. All of this happened during the 2016 NBA Finals, where King James showcased his greatness and won by coming back from 1-3 against the Dubs.
Ayesha Curry wasn’t happy with the officiating for the game and felt like the Golden State Warriors got robbed as she threw out two controversial tweets. In one she wrote: “Can refs get fined” and in the other one, she wrote: “I’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money… Or ratings in not sure which. I won’t be silent. Just saw it live sry.” Ayesha got in some serious trouble for saying such things out. As she basically called the league nothing but rigged. She even had to apologize for it as soon it was all over the sports headlines.
Even Stephen A. Smith didn’t hold himself back and took a shot at Ayesha Curry by bringing LeBron James’ wife Savannah into the conversation. As on his show, First Take he quoted: “Savannah is not like that at all. LeBron doesn’t have to protect her. She doesn’t put herself in those positions. She’s at practically every home game. Every time I’m in Cleveland, just like when I was in Miami, I saw her at every game. Everyone knows who she is. She sits in the same place. She’s at every game, and she’s just as pleasant as you can be…”
Stephen A. Smith also debated about the situation with Skip Bayless and Molly Qerim. And, he sided with Savannah James while being critical of Ayesha Curry who was standing for her man and calling out what she felt was wrong. This comparison though didn’t age well for her as SAS brought another person into it who is their biggest rival’s wife.
So showing off her disappointment and hate for Stephen A. Smith she took a shot at him via a tweet from her personal Twitter handle. And, there she wrote: “@stephenasmith why are you putting two women against each other like that? You’re the one that’s out of pocket.” As we all know SAS ain’t the one that entertains his critics so as soon as he came across it while being on air he clapped back at Ayesha and gave a detailed explanation from his side.

Stephen A. Smith took a straight shot at Ayesha Curry while being on air. And, he did it by quoting: “I’m just saying to you, you need to watch yourself because it might put your husband in a compromising position that I’m sure you don’t want. And Savannah James, who’s been around, who has a husband who’s universally recognized as one of the greatest players in the world, has been around for quite a long time…”
Further, Stephen A. talking about his take on Ayesha Curry added: “And she appears to know that. It’s not about comparing her or anything it’s giving you an example of what may work and what you might want to avoid. Before the media and everybody else uses your tweet as a tool to attack you and possibly your husband…” Today things between them are calm and down as Smith rides with the Dubs and has them listed for winning some more titles. He has also got some of his broken bridges repaired and now is linked with many around the Warriors.
