“Time is running out for you” Stephen A Smith slaps Heat star Jimmy Butler with harsh Jayson Tatum reality

Miami Heat are scorching teams left and right with Jimmy Butler at their helm. The Heat have been too hot too handle in the 2021-22 season, achieveing top spot in the Eastern Conference Standings. Erik Spoelstra’s team has buried any remaining ounce of doubt about their performance, as they became the first team to book their slot in the Conference Finals by beating Philadelphia 76ers 4-2. Miami will now lock horns with the Boston Celtics and Stephen A Smith believes Jimmy Butler should tread with caution.
The Boston Celtics sprung the biggest upset of the season as they shell-shocked the Milwaukee Bucks in an epic Game-7 showdown. Jayson Tatum and Co. have knocked out Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the same playoffs. From being slandered as underdogs and choke-masters all season, to booking their place in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Heat, Celtics are not to be taken lightly.
The Eastern Conference Finals will put two of the power forwards in the league face-off against each other. The Boston Celtics will have their 24-year-old sensation Jayson Tatum take on the Miami Heat veteran, Jimmy Butler in what will be an enthralling battle of the forwards. The teams have been two of the best in the conference over the past few years and should provide us with an explosive matchup.

” Time running out on Jimmy Butler”

Celtics and Miami faced each other in the 2020 Conference Finals, where Miami had the last laugh. Tatum has already had a few traumatic losses in the Conference Finals and will look to avoid falling to 0-3 in those situations and make it to his first NBA Finals. Tatum, 24 years old, may have had many failures in the Conference Finals and Playoffs, however the young gun has his peak years ahead of him. Butler isn’t in the same position, as he is in the latter half of his career and will look to capitalize on the gleaming opportunity of being a Conference Champion maybe even an NBA Champion right now.
“When I look at Jayson Tatum, you already been to like three-four conference finals. And you’re 24 years old. You’ve got time on your side. Time running out on Butler” Stephen A. Smith said.
Butler and Tatum have spearheaded their teams throughout the playoffs and will need to continue to be scintillating form to reach the NBA Finals. Time and tide is surely not waiting for Jimmy Butler and everyone knows that. Butler has performed extraordinarily in becoming a championship-contending player since coming to Miami and improving the team with him. The for him has come to establish himself as Champion and not just a contender.
Butler has proven his worth as one of the top players in the modern NBA era and he’s done marvelous things for the Heat this season. Butler is 32 and in great physical condition, however the perfect combination of a championship winning team, like the Heat this year, comes once in a blue moon. The likelihood of Miami keeping its core around him for a long time, is very slim. The 6-time All-Star will be too old to be the leader of the team after another rebuild.
Tatum, however, is young enough to still have several chances at the NBA Finals and survive multiple rebuilds on the way to a championship. He is a three-time All-Star. It will be an enthralling, juicy clash with a lot of spicy battles off and on court. The inevitable question, will the veteran prevail or will the rising apprentice take his place ?
