Golden State Warriors star player Stephen Curry is always known to support and lead his players. In the recent match between the Warriors and the Denver Nuggets, he showed utmost faith in his teammate Klay Thompson. The Warriors are fading away for a recent scandal between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole.

With the regular NBA season starting soon, the teams have fully utilized the space of playing in the pre-season games to get their team combinations right. The Warriors were playing against the Denver Nuggets in a pre-season match. It was the Denver Nuggets’ possession, but they failed to convert a basket. The ball was collected by the Warriors’ Kevan Looney and passed down to Chef Curry. Steph then passed down the ball to Klay Thompson, who was waiting at the 3-pt line.

As soon as the ball was released from Steph’s hand and Klay collected it, Curry looked away and ran back for defense. He showed the utmost trust in Klay and his 3-pt shooting by knowing for sure that he would convert the basket. Unfortunately, the Warriors lost as the Nuggets pocketed the game with a scoreline of 119-112. Steph Curry has always led the Golden State Warriors from the front on the court. He is doing his job off the court as well. While addressing the media, the Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr talked about Steph Curry’s efforts to keep the team together. Kerr stated that Curry organized conversations among the team to start beginning the ‘healing process’ with Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, and other players on the team.

Similarly, Kevon Looney has also been hugely credited for keeping the Warriors team intact during this time. Kerr stated that Looney’s voice had been a significant factor in handling the situation with Draymond Green. Steve added, “He’s become the moral compass of our team. I’ll ride with Loon forever, he’s a special man.”
