Stephen Curry is undoubtedly the most influential superstar in the modern era of basketball. He single-handedly has changed the way basketball is played. The reason behind the shift in the era of post-domination to pulling up for long jumpers is his godlike shooting skills. Stephen Curry is the greatest shooter of all-time and if not the best, he’s surely one of the best point guards in the league’s history.
Stephen Curry has years left in his career and he feels he’s still in his prime. In his recent interview with PBS, he sent out a scary warning for the league next season. When he was asked about his contribution to basketball, Curry went on to say: “I still feel like I’m in the prime of my career, in a sense of what I’m able to accomplish. Just out there and what the future may hold, trying to achieve, hopefully win more championships, and push the envelope as far as I can.”
Curry is nowhere near the end of his career and is ready to hunt more championships to increase his contribution to the sport. Further, he even stressed how his influence has been helping people with hopes and beliefs to roll ahead. His recent documentary, “Stephen Curry: Underrated” covers everything that made the Golden State Warriors’ franchise player the guy he is now.
Stephen Curry then ever addressed how he with the help of basketball has impacted many lives. He added: “Basketball has opened up so many amazing doors, and it’s changed so many lives for the better. And to be able to do that in a very meaningful way is very surreal to me, just because this is a game that I just loved to play from the time I could walk. And now you realize, like, how it’s over-delivered on impact.” Curry has undoubtedly stood up against all his doubters and haters. He has also crossed the expectations everyone had of him. Today he is ranked among one of the greatest players to ever touch a basketball. And, he still is in his prime and balling out on the floor while clowning his opponents.
He is not wrong when claiming to be in his prime. As just a season ago he led the Dubs to bag his 4th ring. And, last season the 35-year-old had them alive in playoffs while averaging: 30.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game.

The Golden State Warriors have acquired Chris Paul after a dramatic season to be back in the hunt. They exchanged Jordan Poole in the deal to bring the veteran on board. Stephen Curry believes it’s a good addition and will help them have more options on the offensive end. It is something the team struggled with, against the Los Angeles Lakers and eventually was eliminated from them.
Both Chris Paul and Stephen Curry have been strong and true rivals for a decade now. Many believe them to have a relationship full of nothing but competition. But that’s not the case and they do share a special bond.
Chris Paul talking about it quoted: “Me and Steph have known each other a long time. My wife was at his wedding, I think him and his wife was our wedding… I’m excited to get a chance to play alongside him.” Also, CP3 was one of the very first guys to reach out to Curry when the Golden State Warriors drafted him.
