Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was furious over the match officials for constantly calling out violations on his team player Jordan Poole. Kerr clearly wasn’t happy with the officiating in the match. Jordan was called out thrice for carry violations in the game against the Miami Heat.

Steve Kerr, in the post-match conference, said, “I was shocked because basically the whole league does that. They’ve been doing it ever since Allen Iverson convinced referees that it wasn’t a carry. It was a carry. What Jordan does is a carry. But the whole league’s been doing it. So I guess I gotta start checking my emails on gamedays.” He added, “I thought we competed. I’m looking forward also to next week’s email where they announced they’re going to start calling traveling, also because that’s for sure coming as I know if they’re gonna fix a palming they’re for sure going to fix the traveling.”

Earlier Warriors veteran Draymond Green also put forth his views on this whole incident. Green demanded to make better calls and said that every guard in the NBA makes these mistakes. Green also stated that Heat players Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry made many carry violations, but the referee called them out only once. He wanted better officiating in the league going ahead.

In the game against the Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors star Jordan Poole was called for traveling not once but three times. Poole is one of the best young players in the NBA and one of the most explosive players. Poole is averaging 17.9 points and 5.4 assists in just 16.68 minutes per game for the Warriors coming off the bench.

However, Poole ended with nine points (3-10 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), two rebounds, and two assists over 30 minutes during the Warriors’ match, which they lost to the Heat 116-109. Poole was moved back to the bench with Klay Thompson returning to the lineup, ending with just nine points on 3-of-10 shooting. He looked a bit off color in this game.

Poole also created history in the same game when he became the youngest player in Golden State basketball history to notch up 400 career 3-pointers in the NBA. NBA’s best 3-point shooters, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson also couldn’t achieve the feat. This record will help Poole perform better and he can be a guiding light for the team as the Warriors look to win another title.
