This Stephen Curry playoff stat is ALARMING news for Golden State Warriors
Curry’s 0-for-12 record on go-ahead shots in the last 45 seconds of playoff games could doom the Warriors.

Stephen Curry has made a name for himself as the greatest shooter of all time and a clutch performer in the postseason. He has hit some of the most memorable shots in NBA history, from half-court bombs to dagger threes, and has led the Warriors to three titles and five straight Finals appearances.
But there is one glaring hole in his resume: He has never made a go-ahead shot in the last 45 seconds of a playoff game. He is 0-for-12 in those situations, a stat that haunts him and his team.
That stat came back to bite him again on Monday night, when he missed two potential game-winners in the final seconds of Game 4 against the Lakers. The Warriors lost 104-101 and now trail 3-1 in the series, facing elimination on Wednesday.
Curry had a triple-double of 31 points, 10 rebounds and 14 assists, but he was far from his usual self. He shot poorly from the field (12-of-30) and from deep (3-of-14). He also turned the ball over twice and once nearly turned it over in the game’s final seconds.

Stephen Curry and the Warriors face their toughest test yet against the Lakers
Curry was not alone in his struggles. His fellow stars, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, also faltered in crunch time. Thompson missed a wide-open three that would have tied the game at 100 with 1:37 left. Green turned the ball over in the very last possession of the game, sealing the win for the Lakers. Both Thompson and Green made some very questionable decisions in the crunch time.
The Warriors have been here before, but they have never faced a challenge like this. They have to win three straight games against the Lakers, who have two of the best players in the world in James and Davis.
Curry, especially, has a chance to prove himself and silence his doubters. He has broken many records and won many awards, but he has never hit a go-ahead shot in the last 45 seconds of a playoff game.
That stat is a stain on his legacy, but it also presents an opportunity for redemption. If he can make that shot in Game 5 or beyond, he can change the story and keep his team alive.
