LeBron James has been in the league for over 20 years and has been dominating the league since he got drafted. He was a sensation from day 1 and has been the face of the league for over a decade. With a lot of fame comes an incredibly busy lifestyle. Entering his 21st year as a player, he has not only been one of the best on the court but also has proven to be a smart business off it.
His former Cavaliers and Lakers teammate, Danny Green, recently made an appearance on the Run Your Race Podcast to talk about how busy LeBron’s schedule really is. He talked about how his day is structured from the moment he wakes up. Green also talked about how much everything in LeBron’s life is timed and how much work he has to do in addition to the effort he puts on the court.
“His day is so structured, I don’t think he can take a sh*t in peace. He’s so used to everything being timed, it must be like, ‘I got two minutes, let me take a sh*t’. It’s routine… He’s got so much to do, in season or out of the season. Kids, commercial shoots, appearances… He doesn’t have the time to relax or take a sh*t.” Green said.
LeBron James ready to pass out he torch to Anthony Davis
LeBron James talked about potentially retiring at the end of next season after being eliminated in the Western Conference Finals. After contemplating about it, LeBron ultimately decided to come back for year 21 and plans to take a lesser role during the season due to him aging and increasing injury concerns. This could allow him to be completely ready for the playoffs to help the team in a title run.

During media day, LeBron talked about how Anthony Davis was the face of the franchise and how he was equivalent to the players whose numbers were hanging in the rafters of Staples Center. LeBron would expect Davis to take over the role of the leader on the team and guide them to success as LeBron regresses into a lesser role.
