Tim Hardaway recently got inducted into the Hall of Fame after waiting for years and now he is back in the NBA headlines again. As a take of him and his mates from the trio we know as “RUN TMC”, is viral all over the internet. Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson are the current Big Three of the Warriors. But back in the days when RUN TMC ruled the hardwood, they had Tim Hardaway, Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond balling out.
Recently, Tim Hardaway compared himself with Draymond Green and called out the current Big Three of Golden State Warriors as the best trio in the history of the league. Tim Hardaway comparing himself with Money and rest of the crew on the board in the two different eras quoted: “Draymond is like me. I’m the voice. I’m the sh*t starter that gets us going. Chris and Mitch are like Steph and Klay. … They just go out there and don’t say nothing. Just go out there and do the job.”
Tim Hardaway made a legendary comparison between six Warriors icons who are some of the best guys to get the job done out there. Even Chris Mullin had some words for the new trio and what makes them the best trio of all-time. As he quoted: “It’s one thing to like your teammate, respect your teammate, but when you have that in place and you need your teammate, that takes it to a whole other level.”
Further, Chris Mullin speaking about the chemistry the current Warriors Big Three has which has led them to four NBA Titles mentioned: “Draymond needs Steph and Klay’s shooting. Steph and Klay need Draymond’s passing and defense. Steph needs Klay’s size to guard. When you put that all together, you have the best trio of all time.” Even his take is on the same lines which Tim Hardaway used while comparing the two great trios. But unfortunately, Run TMC played for only two seasons together unlike the current trio which is built by the team.

Tim Hardaway finally joins Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond in the Hall of Fame
Tim Hardaway has finally made it to the Hall of Fame and completed the unfinished business by joining his mates Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond. By doing so he has also immortalized the trio of “RUN TMC” they had the potential to rule the league but the front office chose to build with some size and ended up trading Mitch to the Sacramento Kings and their two seasons journey ended with a heavy and unfortunate departure.
During his Hall of Fame speech, Tim Hardaway also addressed RUN TMC and his best mates. As he said: “Chris Mullin and Mitch Richmond. Run TMC. Legendary, baby. We were legendary. When I came into the NBA, those two guys taught me everything, how to be a pro, how to take care of myself, and they would ask me ‘Tim, how great do you really want to be?’”
Further, Tim Hardaway added: “See, Mully and Rock, they made me who I am today. And Run TMC, man, we were ahead of our time. Chris, Mitch, you will always be family to me…I cherish those years…” The trio really had the potential to lead Dubs to a title but unfortunately, the changing dynamics of the game and the need for a big man ruined it all as the trio was broken up.
