Atlanta Hawks star player Trae Young made a confident statement during his recent press interview with the Hawks media day. Trae said the team believes they can win a championship and are excited to look forward to next season. Trae Young has been eyeing the trophy for a long time now, and he can have his chance this season as they have a strong-looking roster.

Trae Young said, “Those guys in the locker room are the guys that I know, who we had dinner with last night,” Young said. “We all believe what we can do, and we believe we can win a championship. I know I do.” The Hawks have a young roster but will face tough teams like the Milwaukee Bucks, Brooklyn Nets, Philadelphia 76ers, and Boston Celtics to make it to the NBA finals.

He further added, “I expressed that to my teammates, and I know they have that same mentality. So, It really doesn’t matter what anybody else thinks of us, or anything like that. It’s all about what we can do and what we show. So, I’m just ready, more than ever, to go out there and play this year so we can show that.” The Atlanta Hawks will be looking to perform better this season after their first-round exit in last year’s playoffs.
