Kyle Kuzma is all over the NBA headlines as he recently carried the Washington Wizards past the Luka Doncic led Dallas Mavericks. Just like many other former Lakers’ players, even Kyle Kuzma has improved and now turned into a star for a rival franchise. The Hollywood-based franchise would really be regretting the trade that sent Kuz away. As right now he is doing exactly what they want one of their players to do.

Recently, the Washington Wizards hosted the Luka Doncic led Dallas Mavericks at Capital One Arena and unexpectedly handed them their fifth loss of the season. The Wizards missed on two of their main guys: Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis. But Kyle Kuzma had different plans as he did a little bit of everything and got the dub for his team. The final box score stands at 113-105.

Kyle Kuzma single-handedly destroyed the Dallas Mavericks and dropped 36 points, 7 assists and 11 rebounds on their head. The Wizards also successfully limited Luka Doncic to 22 points but Spencer Dinwiddie rolled out with 33 points and unfortunately those weren’t enough to get past Kyle Kuzma and Wizards.

After the game ended, Kyle Kuzma also took a shot at the coaching staff of his own team and said: “I have been telling the coaching staff all year just to run the offense through me and this was the game you do it, and look what happens.” Kyle wasn’t having a good time on the floor in the past game but against the Mavs being without the other two stars he had to take over and that’s what he did.

Kyle Kuzma this season so far is averaging 18.8 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.7 blocks with the Washington Wizards. He is also shooting 46.9% from the field and drilling down 35.1% of his three-pointers. And, he still has a lot of time to improve and develop himself a good and deep bag of skills. The Wizards right now are ranked at the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference with a 6-6 record and look ready to get themselves a good deep run this post-season.
