NBA Twitter SUSPECTS Paul George “set up” Jalen Green against James Harden to land All-star at Clippers
Twitter reacts to Paul George setting up Jalen Green to offend James Harden so the Clippers can acquire him later.
Jalen Green, James Harden and Paul George
Paul George is all over the NBA headlines. The reason is very interesting and can even land the Los Angeles Clippers a championship next season. The Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green recently appeared on PG-13’s podcast, “Podcast P with Paul George.” There they discussed what James Harden’s reunion with the Houston Rockets meant for the franchise and Jalen Green’s future and development.
Many believe the discussion was a smart move by Paul George to stop the reunion and keep the Western Conference safe while eventually, getting the Clippers a chance to acquire James Harden. All of these are allegations by the fans but it’s working and Paul George has probably clowned the basketball world now.
Paul George started the discussion with Jalen Green by quoting him to be the “King of Houston” after bringing up the Harden links. Further, Paul George threw Jalen Green into a situation where James Harden’s reunion can end up hindering his growth and also making him better at the same time. As he won’t be the main guy then.
Jalen Green though agreed with PG and went on to say: “I agree. I think it can play both ways. Like you just said it can help and hurt at the same time… I am with you on that.” This particular comment of Jalen Green ended up offending James Harden and unfortunately, closed the reunion window.
As reported by Kelly Iko of The Athletic, Jalen Green’s comment didn’t age well with Harden. He said: “I heard that he caught wind of Jalen’s podcast with Paul George. He wasn’t too keen of some of the things that Jalen was saying. This is a guy in James that came multiple summers to Houston, took him under his wing and kind of mentored him and kind of worked out with him. For him to say, ‘It could be good. It could be bad’. He didn’t like that very much.”
The Houston Rockets now are no longer in the run to acquire James Harden. As The Beard has picked up his player option worth $35.6 million for the Philadelphia 76ers. And, now both sides will be trying to find him a new home after their disappointing end. Also, the former MVP wants to play for the Los Angeles Clippers. Fans now believe it’s all because of Paul George’s high IQ move and he planned all of it.
Twitter reacts to Paul George’s 1000 IQ move to help the Clippers acquire James Harden
Even though all of these are just speculations and allegations. The dots are connecting a bit too perfectly. So maybe Paul George has really clowned the league, especially the Houston Rockets and Jalen Green. The fans though are displaying their respect for this high IQ move by PG on Twitter. You can find some of the many reactions posted by fans here below:
Paul George and Kawhi Leonard both are happy balling out along with James Harden. So the Los Angeles Clippers would now try to form a BIG 3 around them while exchanging a package of roleplayers and picks for Harden.
But the Philadelphia 76ers aren’t going to let them slide off easily. So the road to form a Big Three and content isn’t going to be easy. And there’s a strong optimism on Harden’s side that he’ll be hooping for the Clippers.
