Deion Sanders, Head coach of the University of Colorado Boulder and a former player recently was a guest on Shannon Sharpe’s talk show, Club Shay Shay. For 14 seasons, he was a member of the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens in the National Football League (NFL).
Sanders recently made headlines after he invited Brittany Renner, ex-girlfriend of NBA star PJ Washington to Jackson State University to educate his athletes on the value of being aware of ladies searching for deep pockets. The former NFL player, heaped admiration on Brittany Renner, PJ Washington’s ex-girlfriend.
The two-time Super Bowl champion explained to Shannon Sharpe on Club Shay Shay how Renner was the real deal and had gained his respect. He said,“Brittany is a real woman. She keeps it 100, she keeps it straightforward and she is a tremendous influencer on Instagram. Bringing her in to talk about the game from a woman’s point of view was unbelievable.”
Additionally, he mentioned how Renner explained it to his athletes and said that she received, “more checks in her DM than Nike.” Sanders’ tactic to warn his wards about prospective gold diggers was a classic one.

PJ Washington’s fans called Brittany Renner a “gold-digger”
PJ Washington and Renner met each other when Washington was playing basketball for the University of Kentucky and his 6 years older than the Charlotte Hornets star. The couple broke up in 2021 after some tumultuous time together.
Renner claims she has been defending herself from claims that she gave birth to their son in order to “bamboozle” him for money. They now share a son. According to reports, Washington was providing her with child support payments of up to $200,000. In a podcast with DJ Akademiks, she gave explosive details on her relationship with Washington.
The Kentucky product announced the divorce in a series of cryptic tweets that included the phrase “faking it all along” back in July last year. Fans immediately accused Renner of “seducing” Washington and “trapping” her. Speaking on this Renner said, “You asked me to move in with you. You wanted me to have your child at 22 years old. And here we are. I told you, ‘I’m ok to wait. I’m not in a rush.’”
She further said, “I’ve been with men with way more money… if I was truly trying to cash out, I would’ve cashed out five-six years ago with men with a lot more.” Renner, has been linked to a number of celebrities and athletes, including James Harden, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Jamal Murray, Ben Simmons, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, and Colin Kaepernick.
