He has been apart of the organisation for almost two whole decades and his presence simply means the world to them. Several legends of the league have had the opportunity play alongside a veteran like him as well.
After going undrafted in 2002, his journey eventually started off with one of the greatest shooting guard of all-time, Dwayne Wade. In 2006, they won the NBA title which was first of three the organisation has earned since his arrival. He was a big part of that title reign after averaging 10.7 points and 8.3 rebounds shooting 49.2% from the field. His next two titles were with the super team that starred LeBron James in 2012 and 2013.

Udonis Haslem may not have had the most impressive statistics sheet throughout his career, but his life as a semi-professional in college was a wonder. The 42-year old veteran forward who is also a Miami native himself accepted a scholarship he earned from the University of Florida. He played under NBA coach Billy Donovan’s Gators team under the NCAA Southeastern Conference division.
There he averaged 13.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game to be named All-Southeastern Conference team four times in total. Having garner all the experience he did and for as long as he has, there is no doubt about what he means to the sport, especially to Miami’s basketball history. Recently, he attended the Jr. Heat Basketball Camp where he had the opportunity to meet several young basketball aspirants. One young boy told Udonis that his father played with him in high school to which the vet replied, “I dunked on your dad probably.”
