“You deserve to be around civilisation” Jazz ’TRUE’ hater Vernon Maxwell sends savage message to Donovan Mitchell after trade

Donovan Mitchell and Max Vernon
Former Houston Rockets guard Vernon Maxwell is one of the most fun basketball players to follow on Twitter. Maxwell appears to have a genuine dislike for the state of Utah, frequently sending out tweets that appear to be directed towards the city, its team, and its fans. Maxwell unleashed an absolute masterpiece after the Jazz had blown up their contending core.

The Jazz saga began with the deal that set the tone for the 2022 summer, when Rudy Gobert was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for a hefty sum. The price set by the Gobert trade eventually led to failed trades for Kevin Durant. Donovan Mitchell has been traded by the Utah Jazz to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for five first-round choices Lauri Markkanen Collin Sexton, and Ochai Agbaji.
Vernon Maxwell on Donovan Mitchell’s trade

Vernon Maxwell is well-known for making fun of the Utah Jazz crowd and franchise. Part of what makes Maxwell such a worthy Twitter follow is his account’s pure hilarity and ability to instantly brighten one’s day with fun. Most recently he was seen trolling the Utah franchise for trading Donovan Mitchell , congratulating him on making it back to civilization by leaving Utah.
Maxwell is a two-time NBA champion who was a key member of the Houston Rockets, captained by Hakeem Olajuwon, who won the championships in 1994 and 1995. Although Maxwell may be just providing entertainment on Twitter, the Houston Rockets star detailed the origins of his interest on the Jazz franchise on the Real Ones podcast, giving a fairly telling description of his experiences as an opposing player in Utah.
“Back in the day, people said things to me that I didn’t like. They used to call me n- and talk in all kinds of sh-. Discuss your family. But it’s fine since I have no idea what the f- they were trying to accomplish. I’m not sure if it was an intimidating gesture or an attempt to terrify me. However, they were f-ing with the wrong m-fer. What the m-fers were saying to me kinda scared me out there. They were aiming for my a-.”Maxwell went on to say that he had comparable encounters with other fanbases, but that the conditions in Utah were always unpleasant due of the fans.
Donovan Mitchell is the missing piece Cleveland needs

Donovan Mitchell, a three-time NBA All-Star, has been acquired by the Cleveland Cavaliers from the Utah Jazz. Mitchell later confirmed the transfer by tweeting a picture of himself as a child wearing Cleveland jerseys and sharing his excitement about playing with new teammate Darius Garland.
Mitchell is one of the league’s finest at creating and converting off-the-dribble outside shots. Mitchell had a 50.9 effective field goal percentage on 9.5 pull up attempts a game last season. Among the 31 players who took seven or more pull up shots each game, that effective field goal percentage ranked eighth in the league. Last season, he converted 35.6% of his pull-up threes.
Mitchell is one of the league’s most dynamic two guards. His ability to score efficiently from beyond the arc and in the restricted area ranks among the league’s finest. His skill set would help any team improve offensively, but especially one that was struggling in those areas. By bringing on Mitchell, Koby Altman and company have opted to go all in on this core. His skill level should be ideal for what this squad requires offensively.
