Warriors to trade Klay Thompson? NBA executives waiting on team to break-up Splash Brothers
Rumors make team executives wonder if Klay Thompson is going to be in Trade talks.

The Golden State Warriors have started slow and currently hold a record of nine wins and 10 losses in the league. Amidst this, there is also a lot of speculation as to whether the Warriors are planning to trade their star guard Klay Thompson.
According to NBA insider Zach Lowe, he was questioned by various executives of the league in regards to whether the four-time NBA champion is up for trade by the Warriors. Lowe, in a statement, explains that teams here are looking for an opportunity to be a part of the deal, just in case the rumor is true. Looking at Thompson’s potential and his past achievements, team executives are interested in getting a sharpshooter like Thompson on board with them considering his stellar track record with the Warriors.
Lowe in his statement was very confident of the fact that there is no way the Golden State Warriors would ever trade an asset like Klay Thompson. He said,
To be clear, the Warriors do not want to trade Klay Thompson,” he said. “They have no desire to do it. I would bet heavily against it ever happening.
Klay Thompson hasn’t had the best of starts this season. The 33-year-old is just shooting 40.7% from the field and 36% from beyond the three-point line. Due to this, Thompson wasn’t able to contribute to the game like he used to, leaving Steph Curry with the entire responsibility to lead the team. The four-time NBA champion is averaging 15.7 points per game which is said to be the lowest as compared to his rookie season in the league.
Steve Kerr applauds Klay Thompson for his exceptional performance in Warriors Vs Clippers game
The Golden State Warriors’ star guard Klay Thompson has been through a rocky road. With a lot of ups and downs in the past 20 games of the ongoing regular season, The 33-year-old guard finally is back on his feet when he dropped an exceptional performance in a tight match against the LA Clippers. Steve Kerr in a media interaction praised Thompson for his great performance and expects him to be the same the entire season.

Kerr in the media interaction said,
That’s the Klay that I expect really the rest of the year. As long as he patient and doesn’t beat himself up and just stays with it and brings the energy defensively, he’s a great player.
The Golden State Warriors swayed their way to a 120-114 victory against the LA Clippers with Klay Thompson dropping 22 points including six rebounds and two assists. Thompson had been one of the major players to have contributed to the team’s win on Thursday against the LA Clippers, setting a record for a 9-10 in the league.
