The NBA on TNT crew were up to their jokes again and as usual Charles Barkley was at the center of it all. The crew were jamming to some MC Hammer as Shaquille O’Neal asked Chuck, “I’ll give you a million dollars to bust MC Hammer move right now. Cash.” Charles Barkley who never says no to an offer, especially when it is from Shaq, proceeded to attempt a dance.
Charles got off his seat and busted out some terribly inaccurate moves which left the whole crew in splits. “Hell no,” said Shaq after Chuck attempted to complete his challenge. Charles Barkley turned red-faced while laughing and sat back in his seat knowing he messed up the moves. Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson had a good laugh as well.
Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley have a great relationship and enjoy pranking one another. The duo have been a staple on national TV for a while and is the soul of NBA on TNT. The Big Diesel and Chuck have been close since their playing days, even getting into a brawl once during the overlap of their careers. Shaq had always been a fan of pulling Barkley’s leg and this is just another example amongst many.

Charles Barkley has always been vocal about his likes and dislikes among players and Kevin Durant is no exception. Chuck mentioned on First Take that KD needs to win a ring with the Phoenix Suns to prove himself to old heads. Barkley has been critical of Durant’s championships with Golden State Warriors as he feels Steph was the leader of that team and not KD.
KD retorted and said he does not care what Barkley or Shaq think and plays just for himself. The Slim Reaper said he is not looking for any credit from Chuck or Shaq in regard to his career. Barkley always mentioned that KD gets sensitive when he brings up this topic and it has happened yet again. Durant showed out in his debut for the Phoenix Suns dropping 23 points and then proceeded to take these shots at Charles and Shaq.
However, if KD does win a ring in Phoenix he might be clear in the minds of NBA old heads but debates rage on whether the Suns are a super team or not. The Phoenix Suns did make the conference finals last year on the back of a finals appearance the previous year. Their team has been underperforming this year but adding Kevin Durant boosted their championship odds a lot. At least KD can get Charles Barkley off his back by winning a ring in Phoenix.
