When LeBron James revealed about his participation in the Drew League for the first time since 2011, fans could not believe at first. But the Los Angeles Lakers superstar not only showed up but stole the spotlight by dropping 42 points, 16 rebounds and 3 assists to lead his team to victory. However, where there is the King, not everything goes positively and the same could be said for his Drew League appearance.

Although there was a huge crowd which turned up to witness DeMar DeRozan and LeBron James teaming up for the first time. The 4xNBA champion is now being accused of being on the wrong end of a supposedly “dirty play.” In the video clip below, LeBron James is seen pushing an offensive player in the air as the latter went up for a layup. The clip also conveniently added a few highlights of LeBron executing this same “dirty” move in the NBA. The video clearly accuses James of potentially causing serious harm to his opponents by shoving them while they were in the air.

While some may question LeBron’s intent, the offensive player should be credited for putting in an and-1 finish against the Future Hall of Famer. In the video LeBron could be seen putting forward his case in front of the referee yet it made no point.

What are your views, was this a dirty pay? Or at least a dangerous one from King James? That being said, it does like the 37-year-old veteran is no mood to rest as he is finally back in the mix to make his presence felt on the court. Given that LA Lakers are trying to recruit the best assets around their marquee scorer, will LeBron James be able to lift up the spirits of the Laker Nation in the upcoming season? Remains to be seen.
