“What superstars are supposed to be!” Stephen A Smith thanks LeBron James for giving reality check to fellow superstars in NBA

At 38, in his 21st season, LeBron James surpasses expectations for a player of his age. Currently, he averages 25 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.6 assists, and boasts a 55.3% field goal percentage.

In extraordinary moments, James has propelled his Los Angeles Lakers team to the finals of the inaugural NBA In-Season tournament, where they are set to face the Indiana Pacers. During the decisive victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, he was leading the player’s charts with 30 points, five rebounds, and eight assists in the commanding 133-89 win.

Stephen A. Smith dodges the Michael Jordan-LeBron James debate

Michael Jordan is regarded as the greatest basketball player of all time but gunning for his crown or maybe aiming to succeed him is LeBron James, the Kid from Akron. James has defied nature as he still competes well into his 38th year and 21st season in the NBA.

Stephen A. Smith, while praising James for his performance in the NBA In-Season tournament maintained his support for Michael Jordan.

It’s gotten to a point where I literally am siding with you JJ from the standpoint. We don’t even need to have this discussion. The level of greatness that this man ( referring to LeBron James)continues to put on display, the level of appreciation that we all should have for him, warrants us not having this discussion.

Stephen A. Smith, evidently avoiding the discussion refrained from engaging in the debate that typically stirs up fans across the basketball spectrum. Nevertheless, one certainty remains – both players are great and unique in their way.
