A little-known fact about exceptional basketball player Ja Morant is that he is a single parent to his adorable 4-year-old daughter Kaari Jaidyn Morant. The baby girl is the heart and soul of Ja. She was born on 7th August 2019, two months before the expected delivery date, and had to spend some weeks at the hospital before going home.

Since her birth, Kaari has grown up very close to her father, and she is by far the most important person in his life. Here are all the details about the little bundle of joy.

Kaari has all the heart of Ja Morant

Kaari was born to Ja Morant and his ex-girlfriend KK Dixon. The couple separated after having a baby. KK often comes around to spend time with her daughter, but Ja is the single parent of the child. Kaari is also very close to Morant’s parents, Tee Morant and Jamie Morant, i.e., her grandparents.

Once Morant was injured with a bit of a knock and was forced to exit in the third quarter of a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Kaari, who was watching the game at home, got worried about his dad’s injury.

After the game, the former Rookie of the Year got to see the adorable and touching clip. All Ja Morant could do was smile when he saw this video. Kaari was genuinely concerned about his dad getting injured and she asked her mom, who was also home, if he was okay. It was one of those moments that Ja and all the fathers like him live for.
