Boston Celtics are yet to reveal the female staffer who had an affair with head coach Ime Udoka. There were rumors that the same female staffer helped make travel arrangements for Ime Udoka. Her job sometimes included making the same arrangements for Ime’s fiancée Nia Long. It seems that Ime Udoka has tarnished his NBA career after this scandal came out.

A source told TMZ that the staffer’s duties included booking for the head coach’s team when it came to picking out hotels and transportation-related arrangements and booking travel for his actress fiancée to attend home games in Boston and away games. The staffer also allegedly helped arrange Long’s move to Boston about two weeks ago. Surprisingly, Nia Longs knows who her husband’s mistress is.

Udoka has been suspended for the entire 2022-23 NBA season. He took the Boston Celtics to the NBA Finals in his first year as head coach. An independent law firm investigated this story. They concluded that Udoka was found to breach the team’s code of conduct. The law firm also indicated that there was harassment taking place after the two began to see each other.

Stephen A. Smith and Ime Udoka

Stephen A. Smith feels that head coach Ime Udoka has been put out due to racial differences. Smith said, “plenty of White folks in professional sports doing their thing — and I say that not complimentary.” He added, “I don’t see the information out about them. Why we talking about this now? We got to talk about it because it’s the news. Ain’t none of our damn business unless you fire him. But if you keep him, it’s none of our business. It should’ve never been put out there by the Celtics organization. And don’t tell me you didn’t do it because you absolutely did it because news reporters got it, and it emanated out of Boston.”

Smith concluded, “I know a lot of things about the Boston Celtics organization that pertains to stuff like this that … it would be irresponsible and none of my damn business. Just like it’s none of our damn business now. I’m going to say it again. I don’t see nothing being put out and disseminated to the masses with these White dudes that’s doing this stuff. I know plenty of White dudes that were screwing around while they’re executives or coaches or anything like that — I ain’t talking about the NBA. I’m talking about professional sports. I know plenty. I’ve never seen this publicized. Why are we publicizing this about Ime Udoka? This is wrong. A decision over Ime’s career with the team is yet to be taken.
