Having recently achieved a significant milestone, LeBron James became the first player to score more than 40,000 points during the NBA regular season. Is he, however, the all-time top scorer?

Looking at the numbers and excluding the international games, he is the highest-scoring player ever. However, if international games are taken into account, the world has a different winner who isn’t even American and didn’t play in the NBA.

With 49,737 career points from pro club league play and senior Brazilian national team play combined, he is regarded as the all-time best scorer in basketball history. Schmidt was a guest on a recent episode of “Pablo Torre Finds Out,” and he complimented the four-time champion on his records.

The host asked the Brazilian what it meant to be the top scorer in the world.

I am very proud of that because I never played for records.
Oscar Schmidt said

In response to the host’s question regarding James breaking his record, he said that while records are meant to be broken, he would still want to see it happen.

I love the way he plays because he's a good basketball player. He's a perfect player.
When asked About James, he said

Including his amateur stats, he has 54,411 points, whereas James has 52,346. With 49,145 points, the four-time NBA MVP is currently ranked second, omitting his amateur stats.

LeBron James altered Bronny James’ NBA draft and made it almost confirmed

Whenever Bronny James gets drafted, LeBron publicly states that he hopes to play with him. His father, King James, can still pursue his dream of being selected in the NBA draft, even though his prospects are very slim.

Interestingly enough, there’s a circulating rumor that Bronny James might declare for the 2024 NFL Draft. An executive says there’s a good chance he’ll be drafted, but it would also depend on LeBron being involved.

Teams are willing to negotiate with James’ kid, but they also want the four-time NBA champion on their club, according to sources from ESPN.

The unnamed executive claims that they will close the deal even if James has a 1% chance of joining the teams that are all willing to go for his son. James, who is 39 years old, is still one of the Lakers’ top players and is eager to play with his kid. Therefore, if he needs to leave the Lakers, he might do it without hesitation.
