The Boston Celtics are back in the postseason, reminding everyone of their dominance as they are playing in the first round versus the Hawks. Led by Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Jaylen Brown, Boston is up 2-0.

After their Game 2 win, the Inside the NBA Crew reacted to their performance. Funnily enough, it wasn’t the performance that caught Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley’s eyes.

Derrick White who has been playing exceptionally well so far in the series sat for a post-game press conference following Game 2. White is averaging 25 points and six rebounds versus the Hawks. Though these numbers didn’t really impress the crew, rather they went on to mock White, comparing him to Stephen A. Smith.

White is mostly seen wearing a headband during the game as well as in the press conference. After Game 2, White sat without his headband which caught Barkley’s eye. Charles was quick to point out White’s hairline which seemed similar to Stephen A’s. “Is that Derrick White or Stephen A? ,” said Barkley. Shaq and Barkley burst into laughter questioning if Stephen does First Take in the morning and plays for the Celtics as well.

Stephen A. tweeted about this mockery as he had nothing but love for the Inside crew but he didn’t really accept the comparison to Derrick White. “Y’all are gonna pay for that”, said Stephen A. in reply to O’Neal and Barkley. But this isn’t the only time Shaq and the crew have mocked a player.

Shaq and Chuck once went at Zion Williamson, saying that he looked as if O’Neal and Charles had a baby. The famous segment Shaqtin’ A Fool compiles all the funny moments of the week. Shaq goes after players on a regular basis through this segment. It’s all fun and games between the crew and Shaq with their comments being well entertaining.

Having compared Derrick White’s hairline to Stephen A. was indeed a funny reference that had both Shaq and Chuck laugh their heart out. On a side note, White put up an incredible performance in Game 2 and seems to be taking on the role of a major scorer for the Celtics.
