With Zion coming off the back of a career-high number of assists, the Pelicans will be gladto have their superstar fit and firing. He spoke after the game and said:

We made shots. We made them at a high clip, to be honest. A lot of that was just transition, getting stops, going. When we ran our offense, we ran it with force.

Pelicans coach Willie Green also said:

It was an incredible performance by the guys in that locker room of sharing the basketball, touching the paint, kicking out for 3, rebounding the ball. It goes back to our defense. When we can get stops and rebound and play in the open floor, it’s some of our best basketball.

CJ McCollum was the Pelicans’ best player with 33 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. The Pelicans are currently fifth on the Western Conference standings with a record of 26-18. They play the number one Western Conference seed, the Oklahoma City Thunder next.
