Amidst custody battle for children, Teyana Taylor accuses estranged husband Iman Shumpert of smoking marijuana and being under the influence around kids

In court, Teyana Taylor made a comeback against Iman Shumpert, who rejected her ex’s claim. Iman Shumpert, a former NBA player, is the subject of fresh accusations after Taylor, his ex-wife, said that he neglects their children. Together, Shumpert and Taylor are parents of two daughters: Iman “Junie” and Rue Rose. The accusations state that the 2016 champion doesn’t think about their kids’ safety when they’re in his care.

It was Taylor who filed the divorce for Shumpert in 2023. She accused him of picking a lot of fights without any reason. The singer is now in the process of filing new court documents that state Shumpert puffs marijuana around their children. Furthermore, Taylor asserts that the former player for the Cleveland Cavaliers is under the influence when caring for their two daughters.

He consistently fails to properly care for the minor children including but not limited to failing to feed them despite being in the Martial residence with the minor children, smoking marijuana and being under the influence.

She also claims that her ex-husband allegedly put her daughters in a rideshare in Chicago and dropped them off at the United Center. This occurred while he was being driven to the arena by a private driver. As of right now, the NBA player has not responded to the allegations. He has, however, already rejected reports that, while they were together, he caused the TV personality to feel threatened.

From the news of their divorce in late 2023 to their first encounter in 2011, singer Teyana and professional basketball player Iman fascinated the nation with their love tale. At a party in New York in 2011, Taylor and Iman Shumpert first got together. Teyana was in a relationship when Iman approached her at the party, shortly after he was selected for the NBA. But the two continued to interact and be friends because he was a New York Knicks player and she lived in Harlem.

After Iman underwent significant knee surgery in 2013, Teyana and Iman began dating. Their friendship turned into a romantic relationship when Teyana helped look after Iman for a week following a major surgery. It didn’t take Teyana and Iman even a year to make their relationship public, as Teyana shared a picture of them cuddling on Iman’s birthday. With a series of Instagram posts in June 2014, the couple made their public first appearance.

The couple made their engagement known in November 2015. They then welcomed Junie and Rue, two stunning girls. Everything was seemingly flawless, with the couple even featured in their “Teyana and Iman,” VH1 reality show.. The pair appeared in “We Got Love Teyana & Iman,” another reality series, in June 2021. However, she declared that they had split up and had “been for a while” on September 17, 2023. Teyana made it known that she had officially separated from Iman by filing for divorce in November 2023.
